Rylie Gately, born and raised in Salem, MA now making and teaching around the hill country of Central Texas. Gately examines many relationships between what is seen and unseen in the cycles of life through her work. Drawing inspiration from the fantastical world of nature’s bizarre and strange phenomena. She finds deep purpose along the process through collaborating with the community between labor intensive atmospheric firings and a classroom environment.
