Lynn’s embossed slaband wheel thrown ceramic art explores the graphic and textural possibilities found in the responsive surface of clay. Inspired by her native Texas flora and fauna she uses hand carved printmaking techniques with Cuerda Seca wax resist glazing on mid-range stoneware to create forms with function. Besides having her own ceramics studio practice, Lynn is the owner of the Dallas Clay Collective, a membership based community pottery studio.
