Textures, patterns, & color are used to develop my expressive clay art. Working with low-fire clay and colorful underglazes, I use custom stencils and other tools for surface treatments and decorative elements. I create whimsical hearts, little churches, vases, custom-commissioned churches, and architectural icons. Architectural elements and details inspire much of my work, creating a connection between history, cultures, and visual design.
