Rebeccah Polk has been a local ceramicist in the Central Texas area for over 10 years. Her work varies from functional pottery resembling nature undertones within glazes, to figurative sculptures based upon the current social and political environment. Surface work is one of her favorite steps in the making process, giving her work a very textural and sensory experience to the viewer. Taking ownership of Feats of Clay Pottery est. in 1976, Rebeccah and all the clay enthusiasts has made their mark in the Central Texas area by creating an accepting and friendly community based studio. Feats is a space where artists of all levels come to create and learn. Over the years Feats has transformed massively, birthing The Conroy Gallery and Feats of Print.
