I am a full-time potter working from my home studio in San Antonio, Texas. I hold a BA and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin where I began my study of ceramics over 30 years ago. I have continued to study hand-building, wheel throwing and glaze chemistry at the Southwest School of Art and at workshops with some of today’s most well-respected potters across the United States and Canada. My work is hand-built with soft slabs and wheel-thrown using a dark, mid-range stoneware clay. It is decorated simply with subtle texture, white crackle slip, cobalt brushwork and a slightly-tinted transparent glossy glaze.
