I’m a neurodivergent illustrator and lettering artist with a background in graphic design. In 2021 I got reacquainted with clay after a very long break since college and developed an intense passion for sgraffito. Each part of the pottery process has become satisfying and meditative, and has taught me a kind of patience I didn’t have access to before. I am grateful for the moments of peace I find while working with clay, the understanding it has brought to my whole life, and for the wildly different creative outlet it has become. I have been making functional art and exploring vibrant color and undulating patterns on simple forms. I am driven by experimentation and look forward to all the possibilities that clay has to offer.
