Carol McGinnis is a ceramic artist based in the woods of Richards, Texas. She has been working in clay for over 20 years. Her work is both hand built and wheel thrown. Surface designs are created using screen printed underglaze, vintage stamps, iron oxide decals and vintage floral decals. Carol’s inspiration comes from her childhood spent with grandparents, old photos and following her mother around antique shops. She hopes that by sharing these images the viewer will reflect on their own history and those who came before them.
