Jamie Lea Wade is a maker of abstract, nautical, and figurative sculpture that embrace vulnerability, individuality, and beauty. She believes that we are all strange and interesting creatures, in our own way. Jamie enjoys the planned chaos of a wood-fired atmosphere, where the “lick of the flame” permanently imprints its journey onto the clay. She earned her BFA in Ceramics from the Kansas City Art Institute, and continues her research at the Eye of the Dog Art Center, in San Marcos TX. Jamie Lea Wade has work published in multiple Lark Books, E.A.S.T. Catalogs, and has work in a number of public and private collections.
