Frank Campbell

Our pottery is a collaborative effort, based on British and Chinese pottery aesthetic. Frank makes the pottery and fires the pieces, Barbara decorates the surface by either simple sgraffito engraving, or carving negative space away similar to making a wood-block print. Our main clay body is a cone 10 white stoneware, coated in a variety of coloured slips. We also have been experimenting over the past couple of years with a dark body cone 6 clay, and, a red cone 04 earthenware body.
